Energy for Michigan's Future Project

Response to Stimulus Lab

Students tested nerve receptors in our Nervous system lab.  They loved being able to poke their lab partners with sharp toothpicks!










Reaction Time!!

Students testing reaction times based on different methods of stimulus.  Students tested visual, auditory, and tactile reaction times using meter sticks.






Frog Dissection

These pictures are long overdue for posting!  Frog dissection went great, lots of great connections made to our human body unit!

Pill Bug Activity

Students investigated Pill & Sow bugs today in class.  Now that they are a bit more familiar with them, they have each designed an experiment to test on the Pill & Sow bugs!  Should be an interesting day tomorrow!  More pictures to come!

Classification Lab

Students used the knowledge they gained during our classification unit to identify specimens.  It was cool to take these ideas and actually put them to practice.  They all did a great job identifying these specimens!





iMovie Project

Here is a look at our iMovie project we worked on in class.  Many great movies made by students!  Students had a good time using the new Mac Book Airs, but there was a large learning curve that went along with it.  Everyone did a great job!
