Classification Lab
Students used the knowledge they gained during our classification unit to identify specimens. It was cool to take these ideas and actually put them to practice. They all did a great job identifying these specimens!
iMovie Project
Here is a look at our iMovie project we worked on in class. Many great movies made by students! Students had a good time using the new Mac Book Airs, but there was a large learning curve that went along with it. Everyone did a great job!

"Choice" Lab
Over the next few days in class, students have the opportunity to choose a problem and create/execute a lab to solve the problem. This allows us to really dig into a problem using the scientific method. The students really come up with some very interesting ideas, don't believe me.....take a look at the pictures and videos posted below! Great conversations about the validity of the labs and what groups can do in order to get a better result! Students have the chance to re-think and attempt the experiment again on Friday! Awesome group of students, it was a lot of fun!!
